FEMALE REPRESENTATIVES TO LAUNCH NEW ROLE MODEL CAMPAIGN

Little Rock, Arkansas (October 10, 2017) –

Rep. Sarah Capp (District 82) will be joined by several representatives in the Capitol Rotunda at noon on October 18th to announce a new initiative called ARGirls Lead.

The initiative is aimed at reaching young women across the state to show examples of leadership.

“Seeing women in leadership positions can give hope to girls who may question their potential,” said Rep. Capp. “ARGirls Lead is designed to change perceptions and increase ambitions by sharing our stories. It is an idea that came to me when working with several young women in my district. I’m pleased to see my colleagues sharing this vision and joining in this movement. ”

Rep. Capp will share goals her goals for the new initiative and officially launch the social media campaign where female representatives share their stories and advice.
