There were 294 new cases and 9 deaths reported at today’s COVID-19 daily update. Hospitalizations have increased by 10 since yesterday.
The Department of Health also reported 20 positive results from antigen testing.
The Governor announced today that a multi-state purchasing agreement has resulted in Arkansas securing the purchase of 120,000 antigen tests. The $4 million purchase will be paid for from CARES Act funding already designated for testing.
The Department of Commerce says it is ready to distribute the additional $300 weekly unemployment benefit outlined in the president’s executive order.
