Washington County is reporting 215 new cases. 82% of new cases in Washington County are in the 18-24 year old age range. Pulaski County is reporting 87 new cases. Benton County is reporting 56 new cases. Craighead County is reporting 47 new cases. Jefferson County is reporting 24 new cases. Sebastian County is reporting 21 new cases. 11,254 tests were completed in the last 24 hours. The Governor reminded everyone that it’s important to follow the same social distancing guidelines over the Labor Day weekend. The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville has announced that gatherings of 10 or more people, whether on or off-campus, will be treated as a violation of the Code of Student Life and students will be held accountable. Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan has announced plans for an increased presence of police officers in the downtown entertainment district for the purpose of enforcing the directives related to COVID-19.
