There were 728 new cases, 11 deaths, and an increase of 17 hospitalizations reported at today’s COVID-19 daily update.
The Governor said not all 11 deaths occurred in the last 24 hours. Of those, 6 occurred previously but were only recently reported to the health department.

The Governor said the administration is working to answer questions and address concerns from teachers regarding in-person instruction. Schools are scheduled to begin the week of August 24.
