There were 564 new cases, four deaths, and an increase of 13 hospitalizations reported at today’s COVID-19 briefing.

There have been 80,862 tests conducted so far this month. The goal for July was to conduct 200,000 tests. The Governor said the state is behind in reaching that goal and that delays in commercial lab results remain a concern.
The number of cumulative cases in Arkansas is now more than 30,000. This number accounts for 1% of the state population.
Health Secretary Dr. Nate Smith said that research shows that 90% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 will have some sort of persistent symptoms even though they’ve recovered.
