There were 226 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the last 24 hours.
At the daily briefing this afternoon, the Governor showed how contact tracing was able to determine that from the 190 cases reported Monday, an additional 220 people were identified as having contact with known cases.
There are now 240 staffers working on contact tracing, but Health Secretary Dr. Nate Smith says with they will be making plans to add an additional 350.
The number of tests per 10,000 individuals varies in different regions of the state. The Governor says he is reviewing this information along with the number of reported cases to determine how the state will approach Phase 2. He is expected to make an announcement on Monday.
