· There are now 875 cases of COVID-19 in Arkansas. Of those, 74 patients are in the hospital and 22 are on a ventilator.
· The Governor announced today that on-site instruction will not resume this school year. Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) will continue.
· Education Secretary Johnny Key said schools should be flexible and focus on core content. He added seniors will graduate but may need to continue with local requirements. Meal deliveries can continue if CDC guidance is followed.
· Arkansas will be sending 5 ventilators to Louisiana to help with urgent needs in that state. Arkansas has more than 500 still available and more ordered.
· In an effort to keep the number of cases low, Arkansans are reminded to practice social distancing and wear a mask in public places where social distancing is difficult such as grocery stores and pharmacies.
