According to the National Conference of State Legislatures(NCSL), approximately 2,117 women serve in the 50 state legislatures in 2019. 

Women make up 28.7 percent of all state legislators nationwide.

This represents a significant increase from the 2018 session's ratio of 25.3 percent and the most women elected at one time.

The Arkansas House of Representatives has 25 women serving in the 92nd General Assembly, and the Arkansas Senate has 7!
