According to the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), approximately 2,145 women serve in the 50 state legislatures in 2020.
Women make up 29% of all state legislators nationwide.
This represents a significant increase from the 2018 session's ratio of 25.3 % and the most women elected at one time.
The Arkansas House of Representatives has 24 women serving in the 93rd General Assembly, and the Arkansas Senate has 7!
