Rep. Bruce Cozart of Hot Springs is serving his 7th term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 91, which includes a portion of Garland County.
For the 95th General Assembly, Rep. Cozart serves as Co-Chair of the Joint Performance Review Committee. He also serves on the House Agriculture, Forestry, and Economic Development Committee, the House Education Committee, and the Arkansas Legislative Council.
Rep. Cozart owns Bruce Cozart Construction, Inc., where he is a general contractor for commercial and residential buildings. He is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School, and he is a former member of the Lake Hamilton School Board, where he served as president. Rep. Cozart has been involved with several civic and youth organizations in his district, including Habitat for Humanity. He was elected president of the Arkansas Home Builders Association and was a past president of the Hot Springs Home Builders Association.
He is a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hot Springs. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. He and his wife, Deborah, have two grown sons.
