Rep. Fred Allen is serving his 8th term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 77 which includes a portion of Pulaski County.
For the 95th General Assembly, Rep. Allen serves on the House Insurance and Commerce Committee and the House of Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee.
Rep. Allen graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Business Administration. He supported his alma mater by serving on the University’s Alumni Board.
After graduating from college, Mr. Allen pursued his interest in politics by serving as an Administrative Aide to then-U.S. Senator David Pryor. Upon leaving the Senator’s office, Mr. Allen worked for the Governor of Arkansas, as a Senior Executive Assistant.
Mr. Allen has worked as a Parole Commissioner with the Arkansas State Post Prison Transfer Board. He also served as a Planning Commissioner with the City of Little Rock.
