Rep. Carlton Wing is serving his 5th term in the Arkansas House. He represents District 70 which includes a portion of Pulaski County.
For the 94th General Assembly, Rep. Wing is the House Chair for the House Management Committee. Rep. Wing also serves on the House Education Committee and the House Agriculture, Forestry, and Economic Development Committee.
Rep. Wing is a former sportscaster who now owns and operates his own firm, the Wing Media Group. With his company, Rep. Wing is able to incorporate his love for Arkansas outdoors by producing outdoor-related television programming.
He graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s in Broadcast Communications. He then earned his master’s in Business Administration from Harding University.
Rep. Wing serves on the board for the Amboy Community Food Pantry in North Little Rock. He is a member of the North Little Rock Ministerial Alliance, the Park Hill Business Association, Levy Chamber of Commerce, and the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.
And a little known but fun fact about Rep. Wing: he was once the 1st place winner in the MEMS Ambulance Rodeo, a competition where drivers must complete a challenging course of road obstacles driving against the clock.
He is married to the amazing Leigh, his college sweetheart. He is the father of two grown daughters and two sons who are still in school. He resides with his family in North Little Rock.
